Export Required Documents
The following documents are required for commercial cargo to clear the custom. However, for any personal belonging and household goods the following documents are not required, but the passport copy of individual and packing lists are mandatory.
- Customer Declaration Form (Pragyapan Patra)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin (issued by Nepal Chamber of Commerce)
- GSP Certificate (Generalised System of Preference) if applicable
- Foreign Exchange Declaration Form (issued by Nepal Rastra Bank)
- Letter of Credit (L/C) or Advance Payment of Certificate (APC)
- Copy of Firm (Company Registration Certificate)
- PAN Card Copy (Income Tax Registration Certificate or VAT Registration)
- Authority Paper to Cargo Agent
- Airway Bill
- Phytosanitary Certificate for Agricultural Products
- Certificate from Department of Archaeology for the export of Handicrafts – Statues, Thankas , Wood Carving, and archaeological value etc
- CITES Certificate from the Department of National Parks and Wild Life Conservation for the export of bones and horn products
- Value certifications from the Handicrafts Association of Nepal for Handicrafts goods, Gold and Silver products
- Value added Tax Certificate for beer, spirits and cigarettes
- Passbook for gold handicrafts from Handicrafts Association of Nepal if applicable
- Clearance for gold handicrafts from Handicrafts Association of Nepal if applicable
- Certificate of origin from local Chamber of Commerce
- Shipper’s Declaration Letter for Dangerous Goods
- Health Certificate for Live Animals
- Death Certificate for Human Remain
